Introduction

Accutech
provides a bureau and consultancy service for the design of fluid flow systems. We use our state-of-the-art computer software to accurately model your pipe layout, valves, bends, pumps, fans and other equipment. We can design and analyse almost any fluid flow system including multiple pumps, control valves and nozzles. We can design for steady state and transient conditions.

Typical Projects

Mine dewatering
Cooling water circuits
Sprinkler and reticulation systems
Hydrocarbon transfer
Chemical process plants
Boiler feed circuits

Fixed fire protection
Open channel flow
Waste water pumping
Water supply
Irrigation
Air flow systems

Our service is a cost effective way of analysing fluid flow systems. Because of our experience in hydraulic design and using fluid flow software we can quickly and effectively design and analyse your system, no matter how simple or complex. As an independent consultant we can respond quickly to your requirements; perhaps when you are experiencing a work overload or where a specific project would benefit from our expertise. We retain model designs for as long as required and can reactivate them at any time, for instance when a future upgrade is being investigated.

Distance is no problem! Once we have received drawings, most of the subsequent correspondence can be carried out quickly by e-mail or fax. We can produce either a comprehensive engineering report or a short statement summarising technical results and send these by e-mail.

Graeme Ashford, MSc, DIC, CPEng, Director of Accutech, is a professional engineer, has a masters degree in civil engineering hydraulics and has lectured fluid mechanics at degree level in Australia and England. He has many years of involvement in the pumping industry
