network and open channel liquid flow systems as well as gas flow
and transient analysis.

a computer model of the fluid flow system.

New Systems
For new systems we can use the
computer model to size pumps, pipework and other equipment and
to identify flowrates, pressures, control valve positions, etc.
Using our specialist software for fixed fire protection design
we can perform the hydraulic design of fire protection, spray/sprinkler
and deluge systems to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA)
rules.
Existing Systems
Our service is particularly effective
in the modelling of existing systems prior to upgrade. Using
layout drawings and other site information we can take-off the
piping arrangement and develop a computer model of the pipe system
as it currently exists. Then, using site measurements of flows
and pressures, we can calibrate the model to known operating
conditions. We can then modify the model to simulate proposed
changes.
