You can build a schematic model
of a pipe network in familiar flowsheet format easily and quickly
by using FluidFlow3 's drawing tools. The model can display in
either isometric or orthogonal format.
- Select components for the Component
Palette and place them on the flowsheet.
- Rubber band' pipes between
- Set the default values for every
component to make subsequent date entry accurate and error free.
- Select components and position
on the flowsheet.
- 'Rubber band' pipes to connect.
- Colour pipes for easy identification.
- Cut, copy and paste.
- Display free text.
All components have a unique
cursor shape and flowsheet icon and are selected from the Component
Palette by a single mouse-click. Underlying the Component Palette
is FluidFlow3 's comprehensive database of equipment hydraulic
characteristics. You can
place components on pipes, join pipes to mid-way positions in
existing pipes.You can individually or globally update component
values and component types.
