FluidFlow3's visualisation
capablities integrate the display of entered data and calculated
results. The Data Palette comprises a series of Inspectors -
Input Inspector, Results Inspector, Messages Inspector etc -
these show data in tabular format.
- The flowsheet and Data Palette
are synchronised and displayed concurrently. This means that
if a component is selected on the flowsheet, the Date Palette
updates accordingly - and visa versa
- Data Palette display dan be
user-defined
- View flow directions displayed
on each pipe
- Display user-selected input
data and calculated results on the flowsheet
- Hover the mouse over any component
to display user-selected data in a Flyby pop-up window
- View warning messages about
the performance of particular equipment items

The ability to easily navigate
around large and complex flowsheets, to immediately visualise
flow directions, the graphical display of pump, fan and equipment
performance characteristics and the wide range of warning and
advice messages provide the engineer with an intuitive appreciation
of how the network is performing.
Arrows showing flow directions,
components flagged red if a message or error is associated with
them, Flybys displaying entered data and calculated results displayed
as the pointer is hovered over a component ...all of this helps
your understand how your system is performing. Bottlenecks, inappropriate
equipment selection and likely problems are immediately apparent.
FluidFlow3's FlyBy
option allows you to hover the mouse over any component and display
a user-selected list of input and calculated data in a pop-up
window. This allows you to rapidly "scan" a flowsheet
for desired information. for example, you may wish to determine
the hydraulically most remote nozzle in a large spray/sprinkler
network. Hovering the mouse over likely nozzles instantly displays
the required data.
A wide range of messages is displayed
when the calculation is complete. These may simply be advice,
such as the velocity of flow in a pipe is above the user-defined
desirable maximum or a more serious warning such as a pump is
operating with insufficient net positive suction head.
