This screen image shows an isometric
layout of a muli-pump system supplying flow to a heat exchanger.
Some visible properties have been set to display on the flowsheet,
ie the duty flow of each pump and the temperature change across
the heat exchanger.
On the right hand side of the
flowsheet is the Data Palette. This is always displayed
and synchronised with the flowsheet, such that if a component
is selected on the flowsheet, the Data Palette immediately updates.
The Chart Inspector tab has been selected on the Data Palette
to show the pump performance curves of one of the pumps on the
flowsheet.
The screen image below illustrates
the main visual features of FluidFlow3, viz:
- The flowsheet where the schematic
of the pipe system is built and displayed
- The Data Palette on the right
where "visible data" (eg input data and calculated
results), warnings, graphs etc are displayed
- The Component Palette above
the flowsheet from where equipment items for the model are selected.
