InstruCalc is primarily a single-user program but may be installed onto a network. The client's network administrator must set the number of simultaneous users at the time of installation equal to the number on the license. This is not controlled by the InstruCalc software, but by the network server software. For example, Windows Server NT has a option when loading software on the server to limit the number of simultaneous users; this is when the licence number is set. The software is loaded onto the server and onto each workstation that will be accessing the databases. The databases reside on the server only and it is to these databases to which the network administrator controls access.

Network Licence and Install: After install procedure, each workstation that's licensed must have the full program loaded onto it in order for the program to run. The network administrator must set up proper directories for stored data access to Data Files, User Units File and Printout Headings and give user access to these areas. Basically, each module allows you to make calculations, prepare data sheets and summarize your files. InstruCalc lets you set up your computer configuration and change drives to where you want to store your data files. The Network Administrator has total control of access to data for the set amount of users as listed in the user-agreement.
